• Day 1Algiers – Béchar – Taghit

   

  • Meet at Houari Boumediene International Airport for your evening flight to Béchar.
  • Upon arrival at Béchar Airport (time varies depending on the date — see last page), transfer to Taghit.
  • Check-in at the guesthouse and overnight stay.

   

   

• Day 2Taghit – Ksars & Palm Grove

  • The morning begins with a gentle wake-up followed by a traditional breakfast. Departure for the ascent of the ruins of the ancient Ksar Baroun, offering panoramic views over the village of Taghit and its surroundings.
  • The hike continues through the palm grove, following the meanders of the Oued Zousfana for approximately 16 km, in the heart of a peaceful valley.
  • A picnic in the orchards provides a relaxing moment in nature.
    In the afternoon, visit the old Ksar of Taghit, nearly 900 years old — a true journey back in time.

   

  • At the end of the day, enjoy the sunset from the top of the Great Dune, followed by a traditional dinner.
  • Return and overnight stay at the guesthouse in a serene atmosphere.

• Day 3Cliffs, Palm Groves & Adventure

  • The day begins with a gentle wake-up followed by breakfast. Departure to explore the Beni-Ouarou cliffs, a remarkable site offering stunning panoramic views.
  • Continue to the Bakhti palm grove, a peaceful oasis, then visit the tomb of Saint Sidi M’hamed Bayazid, spiritual guide of the Beni-Goumi, the first community settled in Taghit in the 6th century.
  • Lunch under the palm trees in a friendly natural setting.
  • In the afternoon, discover the rock carvings, witnesses of a millennia-old history.
    Then head to the lake for a kayaking activity (initiation or practice), followed by an exciting 4x4 excursion and sandboarding at sunset.
  • Return to the guesthouse for dinner and a convivial evening, overnight stay.

• Day 4Discoveries & Return

  • The day begins with breakfast at the guesthouse.
  • The morning is dedicated to visiting the local market, where you can buy regional specialties such as dates, spices and handicrafts.
  • Lunch, followed by an optional quad bike excursion.
  • At the end of the day, transfer to Béchar Airport for the return flight to Algiers.
