• Day 1Departure and Arrival in Timimoun

  Meeting at 6:30 AM at Algiers Houari Boumediene Airport for flight AH6464, scheduled for departure at 8:30 AM. Upon arrival in Adrar at 11:20 AM, our local team will welcome you and arrange your transfer by bus to Timimoun. After settling into the guesthouse, enjoy a friendly lunch before heading out on a guided hike to explore Ksar Faoun. The day will end with a stunning sunset over the dunes, followed by a traditional dinner and overnight stay at the guesthouse.

• Day 2Exploring Charouine and Traditional Evening

  After breakfast at the guesthouse, the day begins with a scenic tour through the Charouine region, known for its authentic landscapes and traditional Saharan architecture. You will visit Ksar Tagelzi, then continue to Ksar Guentour and its beautiful palm grove. Lunch will be served outdoors in a peaceful natural setting. In the afternoon, you’ll explore the Tala area, including its historic Ksar and lush palm grove. As the day winds down, enjoy another stunning sunset before returning to the guesthouse. The evening concludes with a festive dinner accompanied by live traditional music.

• Day 3Gardens, Oases, and Majestic Dunes:

  After breakfast, the day begins with a visit to the Aghlad region. You’ll then head to Ouled Saïd to explore cultivated gardens and the traditional foggara water distribution systems — a remarkable example of local ingenuity. Lunch will be enjoyed as a picnic in a palm grove in the Béni Aïssi area, followed by a relaxing tea break. In the afternoon, you'll visit the Ksar of Béni Aïssi, before ending the day with a breathtaking sunset over the vast surrounding dunes. You’ll return to the guesthouse in the evening for dinner

• Day 4Timimoun, Dunes, and a Starry Desert Night

  After breakfast, you’ll begin the day with a visit to the town of Timimoun, including its historic Ksar and vibrant local market — a true window into daily life. The morning continues with a visit to Ighzir, known for its cultural and natural heritage. Lunch will be served back at the guesthouse. In the afternoon, you’ll head out on a thrilling 4x4 excursion into the vast dunes of the Grand Erg Occidental. As the sun sets over the desert, enjoy a final breathtaking view before gathering for a traditional Merdoum dinner under the stars. Later in the evening, return to the guesthouse to rest before your midnight transfer to Adrar airport.

• Day 5Return to Algiers

  Early morning transfer to Adrar airport for flight AH6152, scheduled at 5:45 AM. Arrival in Algiers at 7:35 AM. End of the Saharan journey — taking home unforgettable memories.
