• Day 1departure from Algiers

  Check-in at the camp will take place upon your arrival in Taghit.
  We will help you settle into your rooms, where you can relax and unwind.

  Then comes mealtime, with a carefully prepared dish served in a traditional kheima.
  After recharging your energy, you will enjoy a walk to explore the surroundings and the interior of the camp.

  In the late afternoon, nothing beats an unforgettable view of the famous sunset.
  Sand skiing and 4x4 outings are available

  A delicious dinner at the camp will beautifully end the day, followed by a good night’s sleep to start the next morning refreshed and full of energy.

• Day 2Excurssion Day

  After a good night’s sleep and some well-deserved rest, a hearty breakfast will be waiting for you. There’s nothing like a refreshing hike to start the day, heading toward Mount Barron — a former French military fort offering a breathtaking, heavenly view of the city. A true moment of disconnection from the world is guaranteed!

  Next, we will visit the Old Ksar of Taghit, where you’ll step back in time to ancient centuries.
  Then comes lunchtime at the camp / kheima.

  Before sunset, we gather for an adrenaline-filled adventure on the dunes of Taghit, with quad biking available as an optional activity.

  To end the day beautifully, we take a 4x4 drive to admire the sunset and the rising moon from the top of the dunes.
  A dinner under the stars will wonderfully conclude the evening.

• Day 3Excurssion Day

  A carefully prepared hearty breakfast will start your day.

  To begin the morning, a short walk is scheduled to discover the ancient rock engravings, followed by a camel ride.

  Lunch will be served as a picnic, in a seaside-inspired atmosphere, with plenty of aquatic activities — kayaking available as an optional activity.

  In the evening, enjoy dinner in a traditional kheima, where you will taste the famous Merdoum chicken.

  You will then attend local musical performances featuring talented artists from Taghit.
  On the program, you will hear a blend of Algerian traditional music such as Mahali, Gnawi, and even Maghribi, along with folk dances.

  All of this while sipping the famous Sahrawi tea prepared over hot embers.

• Day 4Excurssion Day

  Free time (with the possibility of organizing additional optional tours).
  Lunch is not included on this day.

  Then, it’s time to pack your bags before departing for Algiers .

  You will have the chance to visit the Souk, the local craft market, where you can buy souvenirs, gifts for your loved ones, and of course the famous dates.

  You will arrive in Algiers the following morning, with a light heart and plenty of memories to share

• Day 5Return to Algiers

  After one final awakening in the golden dunes, enjoy some free time to soak in the desert’s peaceful atmosphere. Then, depart back to Algiers with your heart full of unforgettable memories and breathtaking scenery.
