Located 2,300 km from Algiers, Djanet is an exceptional oasis featuring all the breathtaking landscapes of the Algerian desert—palm groves, surreal rock formations, and golden dunes—while serving as the gateway to the UNESCO-listed Tassili n’Ajjer, the world's largest prehistoric open-air museum. This bivouac expedition offers a timeless, immersive escape far from modern stress and technology, with agency-provided mattresses and blankets (tents and sleeping bags available as an optional supplement for 3,000 DZD). Embracing nature, sharing human solidarity, and reconnecting with oneself: the desert cannot be merely told; it must be lived.
