    • Camping & Sleeping: Tent and sleeping bag (available for rent on-site at 3,000 DZD / person), camping backpack (50L or larger recommended), and an inflatable travel pillow (optional).
    • Clothing & Protection: Lightweight daytime clothing, warm layers (fleece recommended) and a heavy jacket for cool nights, hat or cap, sunglasses, sunscreen, and lip balm.

  • Day 1Algiers → Tamanrasset | First Immersion in the Hoggar

    Arrival in Tamanrasset, welcome by our Tuareg team and transfer by 4x4 to the campsite. Installation and first night in bivouac.

  • Day 2Guelta d’Afilal → Assekrem | Between Oasis and Mountains

    Discover Guelta d’Afilal and its unique biodiversity, then continue towards Assekrem. Short walk to the Father de Foucauld Hermitage with panoramic views over the Atakor massif.

  • Day 3Tassili In Broum → Elghessoure | Following the Traces of the Desert

    Cross the spectacular landscapes of the Hoggar towards Tassili In Broum. Explore Elghessoure cave and its rock engravings, followed by a beautiful sunset over the dunes.

  • Day 4Tassili Tin Akachaker → Tagrera | The Valley of the Buddhas

    Discover Tassili Tin Akachaker and the famous Valley of the Buddhas. Continue towards Tagrera to explore its impressive rock formations before setting up camp.

    Cross the Inebegui plain and discover ancient rock paintings and engravings. Visit Youfahakite, followed by the discovery of Teghssé and the Youfaghlal tunnel

    Explore the caves of Youfaghlal, then discover Oued Tiblaghlaghne and its historic ksar, a remarkable fortress in the heart of the desert. Overnight in bivouac.

    Discover the waterfalls of Tamekrest before returning to Tamanrasset. Visit the local handicraft house and enjoy free time in the city to discover the area and shop for souvenirs.
