• Day 2BETWEEN NATURE AND HISTORY

  Discover the natural and historical treasures of Taghit with a guided walk through the lush palm groves, where you will learn about traditional agriculture and the region’s famous date palms. Continue your journey with a visit to the ruins of the Ksar of Berbi, followed by a traditional picnic beside Lake Zaouia Tahtania. In the afternoon, explore the region’s remarkable prehistoric rock engravings, offering a fascinating glimpse into its ancient past. To end this day of discovery, enjoy a spectacular sunset in an exceptional natural setting, followed by a convivial dinner and a relaxing evening around the campfire.

• Day 3DISCOVER SAHARAN HERITAGE

  Immerse yourself in the authentic charm of Taghit with a guided visit to its historic Old Ksar, built from traditional clay, as well as the local market and traditional handicraft shops. After enjoying a traditional lunch at the guesthouse, head towards Djebel El Baroun, a former French military fort offering remarkable panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. In the evening, enjoy a festive traditional dinner followed by a lively musical performance by a local group. Gather around a large campfire and experience the magic of the Sahara beneath a breathtaking starry sky.

• Day 4FAREWELL TO TAGHIT

  Enjoy a final breakfast in the peaceful atmosphere of your traditional guesthouse before taking some free time to explore Taghit at your own pace and shop for local handicrafts and souvenirs. For adventure lovers, an optional quad biking excursion can also be arranged at an additional cost.
