Depart by plane to Djanet, where you will be greeted upon arrival by our local team. Once in Djanet, you will experience your first magical night, immersed in the unique atmosphere of the desert, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. You’ll discover the tranquility and beauty of the region, marking the beginning of an unforgettable adventure in the heart of the Sahara.
After breakfast, depart in 4x4 vehicles for a crossing of the In-Djaren Oued, the gateway to Tadrart, heading towards El Birdj, passing through breathtaking landscapes. Lunch will be served along the way, offering the chance to enjoy the exceptional surroundings. Upon arrival, set up camp at El Birdj, where you can relax and soak in the unique desert atmosphere. The evening will continue with entertainment, followed by a delicious dinner under the stars in a magical and unforgettable setting.
After breakfast, we will continue our exploration through the majestic In-Djaren canyon, revealing its hidden treasures at every turn. A stop will be made to discover and admire the ancient rock engravings and paintings that tell the story of the region’s past. We will then head towards Moul N’Aga, famous for its spectacular dunes with vibrant colors. Lunch will be served on the way, followed by an animated evening and dinner under the stars, offering an unforgettable experience in the heart of the desert.
After an early breakfast, we will depart to cross the spectacular dunes, where the sands change color and texture with the wind. Along the way, we will discover ancient rock engravings and paintings, including the famous fresco of Tin Derdjan, a silent witness to past civilizations. Our final destination will be Tin Merzouga, the highest dune in Tadrart, reaching an altitude of 1,013 meters. Lunch will be served along the way before we set up camp at Tin Merzouga. The day will end with a dinner and an unforgettable night under the stars, offering a magical experience in the heart of the desert.
After breakfast, we will venture into a mineral world with deep red hues, reaching the vast Tin Merzouga cirque, where perfectly formed dunes rise among impressive sandstone towers and rock formations. A lunch break will be taken at Bouhedienne before continuing our journey towards the breathtaking landscapes of Akibaden. The day will end with dinner and an overnight stay at In Tihak, offering an idyllic setting to enjoy the magic of the desert.
After breakfast, we will explore the rock engravings of Tissout, Ouenzaouaten, and Wenekli, as well as the fascinating paintings of Wentabourek. We will then head towards the majestic Tissetka canyon, where we will set up camp for the night. Lunch will be served on the way, providing a pleasant break along the journey. The day will end with dinner and an overnight stay at Tissetka, in a stunning setting at the heart of the desert.
We will leave Tadrart, filled with emotions and beautiful memories, heading towards Djanet. Along the way, we will visit the site of the "crying cows" engravings, drawn on the rock faces of Tigharghart, telling the sad story of the changing times and the disappearance of habitats and resources, marked by the desertification of the region. These engravings, both beautiful and sorrowful, remind us that we are always dependent on Mother Nature. Our adventure will then take us to the city of Djanet for a souvenir stop at the local market. The day will end with dinner, an enjoyable evening, and a transfer to the airport for departure.
