Meet at Algiers Houari Boumediene Airport at 8:00 PM to board the flight to Djanet.
Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our Tuareg guides, followed by the transfer of your luggage by 4x4 vehicles.
Your first night will be spent in an authentic open-air bivouac under the stars, at the gateway to the desert.
After breakfast, depart towards the Tadrart Rouge for your first immersion into its rich rock-art heritage, with a visit to the remarkable engravings of Taghitit.
After lunch, continue towards Oued El Birdj, one of the gateways to the Tadrart. Discover the region of Merkawindi, renowned for its impressive canyons, ancient rock paintings, and engravings.
The day concludes with dinner, a traditional musical evening, and an authentic bivouac beneath the stars, surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of the Sahara.
Head towards Moul N’Aga, famous for its majestic red sand dunes. Settle into the camp, enjoy lunch, then embark on a walk through these spectacular landscapes until sunset, taking in the breathtaking views from the top of the dunes.
Enjoy a warm and convivial evening over dinner, followed by an authentic bivouac under the stars in the heart of the desert.
Head towards Tin Merzouga, known as the pearl of the Tadrart. Along the way, discover numerous rock paintings and engravings depicting elephants, giraffes, and other fascinating figures, as well as the Cathedral and Intihag Arch.
After lunch near the Bouhaydan River, it’s time for a challenge: climb one of the highest dunes in southeastern Algeria. At the summit, enjoy a breathtaking 360° panoramic view and an unforgettable sunset over the spectacular landscapes of the Tadrart.
Continue the adventure towards In Djaren, combining 4x4 journeys with walks through the fascinating landscapes of the Tadrart. Discover new rock paintings and engravings, including fish representations, the famous Seated Giraffe, and the spectacular World Cup Rock.
Lunch will be served along the way, followed by check-in at the camp for another unforgettable evening under the Saharan sky.
Departure from the Tadrart Rouge towards Tigharghart / Tisras. Discover a prehistoric keyhole-shaped tomb, the famous Elephant Rock, and the remarkable rock engravings depicting the Crying Cow.
After lunch, return to Djanet and enjoy a free afternoon at the local market, where you can explore and discover traditional local souvenirs.
